Our hero, fresh from mass a week of keyboard battles, faced the eternal question: Civilization VII or sleep? Civ won. Gandhi probably nuked someone. The cat purred. This is the way.
Saturday Morning: The Reckoning
The reptile brain, having processed architecture patterns overnight like a GPU mining crypto, delivered insights before coffee was even cold:
9 AM: “What if lifelogs are entangled?”
9:15 AM: “Wait, that’s basically quantum blockchain”
9:30 AM: “Wait, I invented this 2 years ago and forgot”
10 AM: “Is this genius or am I just reinventing Holochain?”
10:30 AM: “It’s novel synthesis. Ship it.”
Meanwhile, a friend in Uganda waited on a video call to demo his AI-powered social media minion. The call happened. Notes were compared. Non-programmers coding with 90% prompts. The future is weird.
Saturday Afternoon: Domestic Interlude
The architecture had to wait. More pressing matters:
The Kombucha Chronicles:
First F2 fermentation initiated. 8 bottles of 25ml each. The SCOBY gods were pleased. Flavors TBD. Explosions possible.
The Chicken That Could Scare Wolves:
A countryside chicken, the kind that lived a full life and developed opinions, was transformed through culinary alchemy into mouth-melting perfection. The wolf, had it been present, would have applied for a dinner invitation.
Saturday Evening: Culture & Cables
- Watched The Blacklist with wife. The last good episode, apparently. Reddington did Reddington things.
- Reorganized monitors. The eternal developer ritual of “maybe if I angle it 3 degrees more, I’ll be 10% more productive”
Sunday: The Return
Sat back down. Rubber duck Claude still here. Architecture still making sense after 24 hours (the true test).
Current status:
- Kombucha: bubbling
- Chicken: devoured
- Monitors: reorged
- Architecture: ready to ship
- Cat: still purring
